Episode 10, series 3 of Hobie Outdoor Adventures has been published to youtube, this episode focused on kayak fishing in several locations around Australia, including Mornington Victoria.

Victorian Hobie Island Club Begins

The Victorian chapter of the Hobie Island Club has begun, with this Facebook page being their online home. The Vic Hobie island club FB group has been created to facilitate communication and sharing of information related to Victorian Hobie Adventure & Tandem Islands users. Discuss group meetings, day trips, overnight adventures and multi-day expeditions, tech questions & answers. Pose questions relating to set up, usage, maintenance, sailing tips, fishing strategies and more.

The group was founded after a bunch of like-minded Islanders got together to discuss the possibility of forming a club over dinner and the first official group meet took place at Inverloch last weekend. Near future events include a daytrip plannet for Mt-Martha to Portsea (March) and a multi day event at Wilsons Prom (April), as well as an Island information night hosted here at the SLH showroom (focused on Isl fishing, camping/expeditions and maintenance) set for early March.
