Replacement shear pins for Hobie Adventure Island and Tandem Island Aka Crossbar braces
Aka brace shear pins (for Adventure and Tandem Islands) are used to secure Island Aka Crossbar braces in place and are designed to break in the event of collision. These should be inspected regularly and replaced if showing visible signs of wear. It is good practice to carry a couple of spares on board the craft at all times. Aka braces have provision for holding a spare pin.
