The 3rd Hand is the closest thing you can get to “self steering” on a Hobie Cat. This handy little device grips the hiking stick, holding the tiller at whatever position you please. Great for light air sailing or when paddling in if the wind dies. It also keeps the rudders from flopping around when on the beach. Attaches at each end of the traveler track. For Hobie 14 & 16 Catamarans only.
