Fully seam sealed and constructed with lightweight yet durable 3-layer waterproof, windproof breathable Dry Pants with zippered fly, pockets and Snuggy thermal liner compatible
Lovig Kayak Fishing Dry Pants Version 3 – by popular request we made this latest version of our waterproof pants with a water resistant zipper and an optional thermal liner.ย Stay dry from your waist to the tip of your toes, get off to the best start by launching your boat or kayak without getting wet!
Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL
Notes on sizing: Lovig pants have an elasticized waist band that is designed to sit up high above the waist. Due to the elasticity of the waist band there is room for error in waist sizing. For example, a size small will fit someone up to a 32″ waist, but with the tabs drawn in it will fit someone with a 28″ waist. Leg length sizes are relatively long – this makes more sense when you are wearing them while sitting in the kayak.
We have never encountered anyone who’s legs were too long for the pants. This is also true of the stocking foot section. They are relatively large in size, so it’s highly unlikely the foot will be too small.
Usage & care instructions
To prevent inadvertent wear & tear it is important to use footwear over the top of the waterproof socks to protect against abrasion, especially when walking around. We recommend fast draining boating shoes or neoprene booties.
Lovig Kayak Fishing Pants are designed to be worn high above the waist line with the adjustable neoprene section wrapped across your stomach (as opposed to across your waist). This might seem a little unnatural when you try them on for the first time but it starts to make sense when you sit down in your kayak.
It is essential to wear some form of footwear over the stocking foot, either some form of sandal, neoprene boot or similar. If you walk around without any kind of footwear abrasion may damage the fabric.
While Lovig Waterproof Pants will offer protection from wind and water the fabric itself does not offer insulation. It is highly recommended to wear an insulating body layer underneath, especially in colder conditions. Polypropylene thermal Long Johns are a good choice for cold conditions as these offer excellent thermal properties and wick moisture away from skin. Merino wool is also highly recommended and are better suited to milder conditions. Unlike most Polypropolene fabrics, Merino wool has antibacterial properties and does an equally good job of insulating and moisture wicking. Alternatively, for maximum insulation add a Lovig Snuggy Thermal Liner
We also recommend Polypropolene or Merino wool socks. We strongly advise against the use of cotton fabrics as a body layer.
