Building on the success of the Mirage Passport series, Hobie have decided to build a rotomolded version as well. The Hobie Passport 10.5 R will be available in Australia eventually in Seagrass Green and Slate Blue colours.
As they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – which is why the Hobie Mirage Passport 10.5 R really hasn’t changed significantly in terms of design. What has changed is the construction technique; rather than employing the thermoformed build, the passport R series are rotomolded. The specifications of the Hobie Passport 10.5 R are otherwise identical to the original Passport 10.5 and we imagine performance is going to be pretty much identical as well.
