Vibe Shearwater 125 Quickstart Guide Video

We’re seeing a lot of interest in the new Vibe Shearwater 125 kayak from interstate customers. Vibe have done an excellent job of packing these models for shipping, so that’s generally how we ship them – as the manufacturer intended. This means that there will be some assembly involved with the rudder steering system as well as the Summit Seat assembly. Thankfully there’s nothing terribly tricky about any of it, but we figured it would be a good idea to put together a quickstart video that covers everything you would need to know about unpacking your kayak and getting it prepped for the maiden voyage.

In this video Scott demonstrates unpacking the hull, setting up the rudder, foot & hand steering system, seat installation and adjustments, wheel cart & trailer skid recommendations, fish finder install, and all features from bow to stern. It’s a 35 min video, which makes the phrase “quickstart” a bit of an oxymoron, but there is a lot to cover with this model. Then again, we only needed less than a minute to cover the fish finder install because doing that on the Shearwater simply couldn’t be any easier.

So if you’re buying (or considering buying) a Vibe Shearwater 125 fishing kayak and are interested in finding out more about the features and setup this video should be informative for you.
