Replacement rubber mesh ‘hookless’ map pocket panel for Hobie kayak molded pockets. Compatible with previous version mesh pocket frames.
Note: this is not the official Hobie pocket mesh, but rather a custom made variant. Due to on-going supply issues with Hobie, we have ordered these custom made variants that will get the job done.
Due to the Hobie parts supply disaster of 2025/26 (with no end in sight), we have resorted to stocking a custom made variant to give our customers an option. These are very similar to the Hobie ones (same L x W dimensions & fitting hole pattern), although they do lack the 3d shape of the Hobie ones. Example image below.
The Rubber Mesh Pocket Panel can be used to replace original and current mesh pockets. The newer rubber mesh is superior to the previous nylon mesh type, less likely to fade from UV exposure, are far more fishing hook friendly
