When Hobie released the Hobie Lynx and thermoformed Passport models (both of which use a different material to the rotomolded models) we suspected that wear and tear might show up around the scupper holes for more frequent users. That turned out to be a pretty good educated guess because since then we have seen a few isolated cases of hull damage.
