The hull shape of the Revolution 13 is a Hobie classic that is relatively unchanged since inception, and for good reason – it strikes the perfect balance between stability and efficiency. Featuring a sleek hydrodynamic shape, the Revolution 13 is fast and smooth, accelerating quickly and maintaining impressive cruising speed with minimal effort.

Featuring three enclosed stowage spots (bow, midships and stern) and a generous stern cargo area to facilitate everything from an evening paddle to a multi-day kayak camping excursion, the Revo 13 is a fantastic all-rounder that is equally popular among kayak anglers as it is adventurers and weekend warriors. The Revo 13 is a perfect all-round recreational performer, but due to it’s speed and excellent secondary stability, has also found a niche following among some of the more ambitious kayak anglers who traverse longer distances and often in open ocean conditions.

One of SLH staff took a Revo 13 on a year-long kayak fishing odyssey up the east coast of Australia the same year this model was introduced into the range. By his account there was practically no where he couldn’t take it, handling off-shore ocean waters equally well as inland water ways and bays. It is a particularly popular model among recreational paddlers in several sailing clubs around Mornington Peninsula, mainly due to how well suited it is for exploring Port Phillip Bay.
