Due to popular demand Hobie have decided to build a rotomolded version of the original Thermoformed Passport 12 pedal kayak. The Hobie Passport 12 R will eventually be available in Australia in Seagrass Green and Slate Blue colours.
As they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – which is why the Hobie Mirage Passport 12 R really hasn’t changed significantly in terms of design. What has changed is the construction technique; rather than employing the thermoformed build, the passport R series are rotomolded. The specifications of the Hobie Passport 12 R are otherwise identical to the original Passport 12 and we imagine performance is going to be pretty much identical as well.
